Biography

Dr. Greg Wells is a scientist, human physiologist, and bestselling author who helps individuals and organisations unlock healthy, sustainable high performance by translating complex science into practical, actionable strategies. After breaking his neck at age fifteen and returning to elite competitive swimming, his lived experience shaped a lifelong focus on resilience, recovery, and human potential. He has since completed extreme endurance events including Ironman Canada, the Tour d’Afrique (the world’s longest cycling race at 11,000 km), and the Nanisivik Marathon inside the Arctic Circle. Dr. Wells holds a PhD in Human Physiology, served as a tenured professor at the University of Toronto, and is currently a Senior Scientist at SickKids Hospital. He is the author of five bestselling books and host of the award-winning Superbodies series, broadcast globally during the Olympic Games. His work focuses on sleep, energy, mental health, and peak performance.
